Norwich-based marketing communications agency The Works has been appointed to handle marketing and PR for Heritage Manor, a provider of luxury retirement care based in Worcestershire.
The Works is to promote the launch of a series of ‘retirement villages’ in the UK. Each one enables residents to move from one area of the village to another as they need more care and support, but can stay close to their friends in the same village.
The heart of the concept is a retirement hotel. This latest concept in retirement care offers over 55s the opportunity to live in a luxury suite in a prestigious development offering all the facilities of an hotel, but with the independence of a private home.
The most recent project by Heritage Manor is Homebridge Court in Witham in Essex; a magnificent Grade II listed building standing in its own grounds. Heritage Manor is also operating and developing two other villages in the region – at Abberton Manor near Colchester and Nowton Court near Bury St Edmunds, as well as operating residential nursing homes in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Helen Cannell, client services director of The Works, says: “Heritage Manor is an important client for us to win. The location meant we were pitched against several London-based agencies and that fact The Works has been chosen is a real feather in our cap.”
