NORWICH SPORTSPARK APPOINTS THE WORKS

Norwich-based marketing and communications agency, The Works has been appointed by Norwich’s Sportspark to deliver an integrated marketing campaign, including advertising and PR to promote the fitness venue to local people.

The primary objective of the campaign is to break down the perception that Sportspark, East Anglia’s biggest swimming and sports centre, caters only for UEA students and staff. Though based on the UEA grounds, Sportspark is open to everyone and is unique in offering ‘pay as you go’ where visitors can just turn up and swim, or use the gym without being a member and tied into a long-term

Russell Evans, managing director of The Works, comments: “Sportspark is a fantastic asset for Norwich and Norfolk and The Works’ challenge is to encourage more local people to use Sportspark gym’s 85 fitness stations, swimming pool, climbing wall, athletics track, pitches for football and hockey, and netball, tennis and squash courts.”
