REGIONAL PR TEAM SCOOP A TRIO OF ACCOLADES

The PR division of Norwich-based communications agency, The Works, has yet again been recognised for its devotion to campaign and client by picking up three accolades at the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) PRide Awards in East Anglia.

The team were awarded the silver trophy for Low Budget campaign of the year for Earth Event, the ubiquitous series of environmental workshops held in and around The Forum, for which the team publicised key messages to a national audience.

The successful partnership between The Works and Earth Event was also recognised for best Integrated Campaign of the year, for which the team were finalists. The judges praised the “inspiring range of disciplines [that] were implemented” and how “excellent media coverage was achieved which fulfilled its objective of driving large numbers of people to the event”.

PR account manager Rachael Paddick 23, was a finalist for Outstanding Young Communicator of the year, after showcasing her capabilities on a number of accounts. Of Rachael the judges remarked how she “impressed her agency, clients and the media with her professionalism”.
